Reasons to Buy or Rent A Trailer in 2018

Jan. 5 2018 Article By Tropic Trailer

Deciding to buy or rent a trailer is always a smart investment for the right situation. 2018 is the year to stop guessing and make life a little easier for ourselves. There are thousands of uses for a trailer and plenty of situations where they can make things go a little smoother. Here are six reasons you’ll need a trailer to survive the upcoming year.

1. If you’re moving to a new house…

The new year could bring many big changes, like moving into a bigger house to make room for new family members, downsizing due to birds leaving the nest, or relocating for new jobs and opportunities. Whatever the circumstance, take control of your situation by renting an enclosed trailer to safely and conveniently transport your belongings.

2. If you’re redoing the house…

Is some interior design on the to-do list for 2018? A trailer can help with it all, from loading in the new to getting rid of the old. Hauling furniture on a trailer is more stable and safer for the furniture than stuffing it into the back of a pick-up truck or borrowing the neighbor’s van. This gives you the freedom to pick up from the store as soon as you buy or rent a trailer and to escape over-priced delivery costs.

3. If you have a child going off to college…

This coming Fall, young adults across the state of Florida will leave home to start their college experience. But have you thought about everything they’ll need to survive freshmen dorms? Save yourself some money (and stress) by taking the next few months to pick out all of the furniture and extras they’ll need. Then, when back-to-school season comes around, you can take your time loading up their trailer and sending them off to conquer the world!

4. If you're upgrading your lawn care game…

Bags of mulch or soil are tedious to transport and expensive to haul. With a trailer, you can put an entire load of mulch, gravel, or soil directly into the trailer bed and drop it where it needs to go in one trip. From planting a garden to repaving your driveway to fertilizing the lawn, your latest DIY project will be much easier with a dump trailer or landscape trailer.

5. If you want to see the country…

Is one of your New Year's Resolutions to travel more? Then it’s time to start checking off the bucket list! Road trips are the best and most adventurous way to see the country. Save on hotel costs and get the full road trip experience by hitching up a travel or living quarters trailer. 6. If you want a new hobby…

If Santa brought the big toys this year, a toy hauler or boat trailer is next on the list. ATVs, boats, rivers, golf carts, motorbikes, and motorcycles all need a transport. If you want to get the most out of all your new activities and hobbies, a trailer can get you (and your new toy) anywhere that you need to go and explore.

The new year could bring all kinds of adventures - make sure you’re ready for them! A trailer might seem like a big purchase, but it will end up paying itself off. There is a wide variety of uses and opportunities that come with owning or renting a trailer. Take the leap this year!
